We collect only what we need. If you are asked for information that isn't necessary for the purpose at hand, you are welcome to leave it blank or contact us to query why it's being requested.
2. How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information in the following ways:
- Directly from you - when you submit an enquiry form, contact us by email or phone, sign an engagement letter, or provide information in the course of a project.
- Through our website - when you browse wyomingdigital.com, certain technical and behavioural data is collected automatically via cookies and analytics tools (see Section 5).
- Through third parties - in some cases, a client or referral partner may provide your details to us in order to facilitate an introduction or engagement. We handle that information with the same care as information you provide directly.

- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not use personal information for advertising, profiling, or direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may share personal information with third parties in limited circumstances:
- Service providers - we engage trusted third-party tools and platforms to help us operate our business. These may include cloud storage providers, project management software, communication platforms, and payment processors. These providers are given access only to the information they need to perform their function, and are required to handle it securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies - small text files placed on your device - to support the functioning of the site and to help us understand how it is being used.
- Functional cookies are necessary for the website to work correctly. They are not used to track you across other websites.
- Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics. These collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the duration of your visit. This information is aggregated and used to improve our website. Google Analytics data is processed by Google in accordance with their Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not use cookies for advertising targeting, cross-site tracking, or behavioural profiling.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include:
- Using encrypted communications (HTTPS) for our website
- Storing data on secure, access-controlled platforms
- Limiting access to personal information to those who need it to perform their role
- Using reputable third-party tools and processors with their own security controls
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a breach, we will act in accordance with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme (see Section 9).
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law or professional standards.
For client engagements, this typically means retaining project files, communications, and related records for a period of seven years following the conclusion of the engagement, in line with standard commercial and tax obligations.
Information collected through website enquiries that did not result in an engagement is retained for a reasonable period to manage the inquiry and for internal records, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.
8. Accessing and Correcting Your Information
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
To make an access or correction request, please contact us at privacy@wyomingdigital.com. We will respond within a reasonable time - generally within 30 days - and may ask you to verify your identity before providing access.
If we are unable to provide access or make a correction, we will explain why in writing.
You may also request that we delete your personal information. We will honour reasonable deletion requests unless we are required by law to retain the information, or it is necessary to retain it for another legitimate purpose.
9. Notifiable Data Breaches
Wyoming Digital is subject to the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose personal information is involved, we will:
- Assess the breach as quickly as possible
- Notify the affected individual(s) and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where required
- Take steps to contain the breach and prevent further unauthorised access
If you believe your personal information held by us may have been compromised, please contact us immediately at privacy@wyomingdigital.com.
